A "Home for Life" Reconfiguration

This project involved the total renovation of an existing bungalow to create a bespoke, high-performance "home for life". By removing every internal wall and retiling the roof with integrated solar panels, we transformed a dated structure into a warm, sustainable, and open-plan retreat tailored for retirement.

Structural Reimagining & Civils

The transformation required stripping the building back to its core. We managed a complete internal reconfiguration, creating new bedrooms, bathrooms, and a front entrance that perfectly suited the clients' long-term needs.

  • Internal Precision: Every internal wall was replaced to facilitate a modern, open-plan kitchen and living area.
  • Sustainable Energy: The project included a full roof overhaul, featuring high-efficiency retiling and the installation of solar panels.
  • Extensive Landscaping: We executed a major civils package, including digging out the rear garden to install six linear metres of natural stone retaining walls and bespoke copings.

A Seamless Environment

Accessibility and flow were central to the brief. We installed new drainage, modern slabs around the entire perimeter, and structural steps to ensure the beautiful gardens remained easily accessible and integrated with the new interior layout.
